A small thing on your keys, so light you forget it is there. Pull the loop: the 130 dB siren and the light go off at once, no phone, no app, no signal needed. And once your phone is paired, it calls the emergency services and your people get where you are.
How big, how heavy?
65 g and about the size of a lighter, so it disappears into a pocket: 93 × 30 × 16 mm. The OYA Clip fixes it in seconds to a keyring, a bag, a belt loop or a zip, which is what keeps it within reach rather than at the bottom of a drawer. It charges over USB-C, cable in the box, with no throwaway batteries to buy.
What if it breaks?
If it stops working, we take care of it. Every order carries the two year legal guarantee of conformity, counted from delivery, plus our own cover on anything that comes down to materials or workmanship. You will not have to dig out an invoice: a confirmation e-mail or an order number is proof enough, and our team writes back within 24 working hours.
What it does with and without a phone
Part of it works on its own, part of it goes through your phone. Here is the line, in plain terms.
- Without a phone: you pull the tab, the 130 dB siren and the flash go off, the light comes on, and pushing the tab back down stops everything. No network, no app, no pairing.
- With your phone: the call to the emergency number and the location message to the people you chose come from the phone’s own built-in SOS. They assume a phone that is switched on, charged, in coverage, with its SOS turned on and emergency contacts saved in advance.
- Your phone has to allow pairing a Bluetooth accessory and triggering its SOS from that accessory. If it does not, the siren and the light still work: they depend on nothing.
- It is not waterproof: no ingress protection (IP) rating is assigned to it. Keep it away from water.

Lilac Mist, the quiet lilac
Lilac Mist is a greyed lilac, very pale, almost hazy, which is where the name comes from. It is the softest shade in the range: it carries the brand colour, but several tones down, so it reads as a slightly violet grey rather than as purple. Raking light brings out a tint that direct light flattens completely.
The right choice if you are torn between discreet and colourful.
That restraint is the point. It goes with nearly everything, clashes with no bag, no jacket and no already crowded keyring, and the brass clip stands out clearly on it without looking like a forced contrast. It is the middle ground of the range: present enough to be found in a bag, plain enough to go unnoticed in a meeting or a lecture room. If Lilac Pearl feels too strong and Clear White too neutral, this is the one that sits between them.
Greyed shades are the most stable over time: Lilac Mist shows neither the fingerprints of a white nor the pale dust of a deep purple. It is the colour that asks for the least attention. Under artificial light it loses its violet cast and reads as a light grey, which makes it quieter in the evening than during the day.

Before you use it the first time
- The siren reaches 130 dB measured at 30 cm. Set it off at arm’s length, never against an ear, yours or anyone else’s. Keep the device away from young children, who can trigger it close to their own face.
- The rechargeable lithium battery cannot be replaced. Charge it over USB-C with the cable supplied or a compliant charger. Do not open the device, pierce it, or expose it to fire or strong heat; if it swells, deforms or gets hot while charging, stop using it and write to us.
- It is not waterproof: no ingress protection (IP) rating is assigned to it. Keep it away from water and dry it before charging it again.
- It is a sound alarm. It is neither a weapon nor a medical device, and it does not replace the emergency services: call 112 as soon as you can.

How loud does OYA get?
The alarm hits 130 dB, roughly a jet engine heard from close range. The sharpness is deliberate: enough to throw someone off nearby and to pull eyes from the far side of a street, a platform or a car park.
Do I have to unlock my phone to use OYA?
No. OYA pairs to your phone over Bluetooth, so pulling the handle sets everything off on the spot, with nothing to unlock and no app to open. Your phone only needs to sit within Bluetooth range for the SOS call and the location message to your contacts.
How long does a charge last?
The battery runs the siren for around 90 minutes without stopping on a full charge, and the device lasts about six months of use between charges. It recharges over USB-C with the cable in the box, so make charging it part of the same routine as the device you carry every day.
Can OYA handle water?
No. OYA is not waterproof and carries no ingress protection rating. Keep it away from water, and if it does get wet, dry it before charging it again.
What if I pull the handle by mistake?
With the loop pushed down, OYA sits idle: the alarm only fires once you pull the loop firmly all the way up, which no amount of jostling in a bag will do. If it ever does go off, push the loop back down and it stops at once.
Does OYA run without my phone?
It does. The 130 dB alarm and the flashlight run entirely on their own: no phone, no app, no signal. Pair a phone once when you want OYA to trigger its native SOS call and send your position to your emergency contacts.

Does an alarm help if nobody reacts?
It does not promise that passers-by will come running. What it produces is attention: a quiet scene turns loud, and a few seconds of hesitation give you time to get away. If your phone is paired, emergency services and your contacts are alerted at the same moment. OYA adds a layer of safety without replacing 112.
Where should I carry OYA to have it at hand?
On the keyring you already take with you: your keys are in your hand at the moment you get home. OYA weighs 65 g and clips on with its gold clip, supplied in the box. At the bottom of a bag it would take longer to reach.
Do I need to buy more than one?
No, one is enough. Bundles are there to equip the people close to you as well: buy several and each one costs less, with the price worked out for you as you choose.
Is pepper spray not more effective?
It asks something else of you: reaching it, aiming it, and not having it taken off you. Carrying it is also restricted, or banned, depending on the country. OYA asks for one movement, hurts nobody and falls under no carrying rule.
